Writing this review for my fellow parents here in the Alameda area in search of a relaxing, inexpensive, burger experience off... the beaten path. This particular Carl's Jr. is super clean, very fancy inside, with an expanded menu that includes tastyMexican food options (tacos, burritos, salads) and a truly huge selection of hamburger choices. My spouse and I regularlywatch the coupon deals in our mail box, and when our older boy starts doing the "I want McDonald's" thing, we take the kidsinstead to Carl's Jr. for a giant feast that is much healthier. The manager and staff are really kind and generous, just as aside note. It's obvious that they've cultivated a very loyal neighborhood fan base. If you take your kids there, you won't besorry. My grilled chicken was barely edible - poorly put together, buns were not grilled, buns were cold, meat was extremely low grade,... and simply looked sad. My gf's crispy chicken sandwich was absolutely disgusting - poorly put together, spicy chicken patty wasdry, ugly looking, hollow, and just plain gross taste wise. I asked for the spicy chicken sando to be returned and orderedsomething else, which tasted only marginally better. I wasted almost $30 on very very bad food. Never coming back. Read more
I ordered and paid for my meal in the drive thru. Which was the #10 chicken sandwich combo, with no pickles. I paid at 1:20 pm.... I was told to pull around, they were making the chicken still. No problem, but as I'm sitting, I noticed all 4 vehicles thatwere behind me leave. Also, 2 different customers walked in and ordered and left. Now 23 minutes later, my food comes... what'sthat about! Irritated at this point, neither my barbecue sauce, or my honey mustard was in the bag. I go inside to get it. I'min traffic driving home eating my fries. I finally get home, open up my chicken sandwich and it was burned (picture posted). Itlooked like they cooked it the whole time that I was waiting! The attention of employees and cleanliness is very good, but I left disappointed,. When I went to look for the payment receipt,... They accept EBT, which is nice. The cashier that seems to be there everytime I've gone is a little quiet, but seems nice. The... food is good. Usually empty though. 8/10 Read more
Great place to grab a yummy, fast-food, charbroiled, gourmet burger with bacon, teriyaki, avocado, etc along with their... breakfast burger which looks like a scrambled egg, burger, bacon and hashbrowns, chicken, fish sandwiches, etc . The food atthis location is consistently really good majority of the time hot and fresh. This restaurant is really clean. They even broughtour food over to us...first time I've had that at a fast food restaurant ...overall get service. Read more
