This use to be one of my favorite spots, however i will now not be returning. First off the place was repulsive, filthy. I?m... shocked I didn?t see bugs crawling on the walls. I should have pulled off and let them just keep my money, but I got my orderand feel as if I was robbed. Paid 13 dollars for the lobster bite platter, and only got 5 small pieces. I didn?t even eat it infear of getting sick. I also was disappointed that it was so expensive for such tiny pieces. Read more
Man, I forgot how tasty the food at Long John Silver's really is! It's been a while since I have eaten here and the decor has... not changed much, but the food is outstanding. Crisp and delicious filets of fish and crisp hush puppies dipped in Long John'sdelicious tartar sauce. And now they have grilled salmon and shrimp which is yummy as well. Read more
Ok we did a online pickup order. Got to restaurant to pick up as it said finished. Well they gave it to the wrong guy. Than one... guy said he wasn't remaking the order he already made it. The cashier guy acted like he had no idea what he was doing and thelady was in the bathroom holding the door cracked while talking. So than they finally remake order. Ok . We get home , pass itout and begin eating. Well it tasted like pure dirty oil, and was gross. Literally I ate two bites of fish and vomited into thegarbage can. This place needs a good cleaning, instead of flies all around and dirty. Would not recommend at all eating thereuntil they fix this or goes out of business from serving people food poisoning. Gross. Most likely unavoidable but the whole place had an oily greasy film to it. If you want to take a trip back to its original days,... this spot would be the place to go. They still have the little boat type seats. The decor is original. The music is like theBeach Boys on Gilligan's Island with a touch of Mr Rodgers. The only thing missing was a live pirate. Unfortunately I have mixed emotions here. The food is delicious and hot. I've never had cold food. If it was just food and the... workers, it would be 5 stars. Here's the minus 1 star. I went 2 weeks in a row. Last week I noticed that the side dishes wassignificantly smaller. I mean noticeable smaller. I still had leftover bowls from the week before, just in case you don'tbelieve me. That won't stop me from going, because the food is delicious and the workers are friendly and hard working. They forgot our cole slaw, the batter on the fish was doughy, the serving size of green beans was a joke. We asked for malt... vinegar and gave us hot sauce and tartar sauce instead. We did not want hot sauce or tartar sauce....I asked for cocktail sauceand got less than a teaspoon size. Read more
Food is still very good, and the workers are very polite and attentive, but why is it if you go to order online it is 3 dollars... cheaper than if you go to the lactation? Case in point online 2 pc fish, 1 pc chicken, 3 shrimp, two hushpuppies and two sides9.99, at the restaurant in the drive thru almost 13 bucks.... Better get this fixed quick before someone calls false advertisingand runs to the lawyers. Read more
