This place is incredibly stingy. Had 2 house specials, noodle portions were normal, but they skimped huge on meat. Spring... rolls were if okay portion size but the taste was way off. I asked for extra hot sauce after tipping 15% for takeout, and theyrefused saying I had to pay extra. Double jokes on me as they only included hoisin and added NO hotsauce at all with myorder. Better off driving the extra to Taunton and Salem and visiting Pho Giato instead, better value and service. Read more
Was in the east end and really dying for a hearty pho on a chilly autumn day- we came across Phomono after a Costco run. The... location is great, very convenient. Price point is great. Portions are generous. My husband had the grilled pork chop and rice. It was delicious, salty, sweet enhanced by the grill. Delicious. The pho was a good portion size . The broth was lacking thedepth of the flavor you get from a broth normally simmered for at least half a day. However, It did satisfy a craving with thelong drive to north Scarborough or downtown. They have a new Item that is not on the, it's called fatty beef noodle soup. If you would like to order it, just tell the server... that you want the Rare Beef Noodle Soup and he will make the substitution automatically. I have been coming to this location foralmost 5 years now and I could not praise it more however the last three times I have come the food has been terrible. theprices have skyrocketed and the food quality has declined in a big way to the point where the food is now uneatable. Maybe theyare taking advantage that the restaurant inspectors are on strike because I don't think a restaurant inspector would allow thisplace to continue to stay open if they served this type of food. the beef in the rare beef noodle soup is literally a clump offat. the only saving grace for this restaurant is the service is fantastic. but I personally go for the food not the service Read more
This was the first time we ordered here. The worse portion of meat in Beef vermicelli noodle meal, and no sauce or flavor in the... fried thai noodles!!! As you can see in the picture how plain it is. And Scarborough Pho vietnamese restaurants provide a verygood portion of beef on their vermicelli meals. And the chicken in the mango salad, not even sure what that is, white meat. If Icould give zero or minus stars for the food we paid $ 49 something such a rip off. We had ordered chicken pho,fried squid ,fresh rolls and fried rice. Fried squid was horrible. They added only tentacles and it... smells awful. Chicken pho was stale . They gave some water ,noodles and some chicken and other two items were good.. overall itwas very bad experience. Read more
