The restaurant needed to be tidied up a bit, a number of different smells in the air. The bihari naan meat filling was awful and... stringy - quite pricey as well. Dum keema naan was dripping in oil - the naan itself wasn't bad. Kashmiri chai was pretty priceyand very sweet. Read more
The food was amazing! We got three different naans and they were all so unique! See pics in the review. We got the beef brisket,... chicken tikka and chicken mexicana… beef brisket was probably the best one. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not 5 is therestaurant smelled a bit odd, like a weird fake garlicy smell. It was really off putting so hopefully the restaurant sees thisreview and addresses that smell so more people can eat in the restaurant. But definitely recommend ordering from this place! Read more
Wow me and my wife went here for lunch Friday noon. Service fast. The Regional manager served us. We had the philly steak and... Bihari Kebob naan. My favourite is Bihari Kebob. Amazing flavour. Juicy but not sloppy. Creamy soft meat and great spices andflavour. So filling we can't finish the whole naan. Coupled with Kashmiri tea and karak chai. Both are very nice. Word ofadvice. Tea is much better to dine in thank delivery. Update April 1st 2022: Like most places unfortunately their quality wentdown fast. 2nd time we have ordered and it was really bad. The Keema naan was drenched in oil and was uneatable. The 2nd timearound I ordered behari Kebob one and it hardly had any meat just refried beans and it was super spicy. Very disappointing toget 2 naans and 2 teas for almost $60 and it's bad quality food. When it happens twice in a row then it's a pattern and there'sno quality control. AM A Z I N G food!! We were referred to Naan & Chai by a client that day so we decided to check them out. Really happy we are... there. The restaurant was clean & busy with takeout orders. We ordered the Tandoori-, Butter- & Bihari Chicken stuffed wrapsand they were very favourable. I’m not one for dipping sauces but they added another fabulous layer of flavour. The menustated the Bihari and Tandoori chicken was spicy but we found it to be more on the mild side, bursting with flavour. ???? Wefound the servings large for one person so next time, I’ll be sharing. We certainly took some home for left overs … can’twait to over-warm and eat! First visited Naan and Chai location in summer 2021 and I believe it was opening week. The naan was perfectly cooked but the... stuffed butter chicken was fairly underseasoned (salt). Fast forward to January 2022 and we tried them again, got the butterchicken and Mexican stuffed naans and what a difference. The flavours were amazing and the dip added a nice contrast to thestuffed naan. I think it tastes even better when the curry has become a bit more dry. Would definitely recommend and a goodportion for a hungry individual as well. The chai has great flavour and lots of nuts so quite a pleasant experience. Read more
Definitely not a 5 out 5 experience, more like a 3.5. The food tastes delicious and is easy to eat. It's a tiny bit more... expensive than it should be, but it is very unique. The indoor dining had a smell of strong detergent, I couldn't stand it. Thereally need to keep the washroom door closed and control the smell. The patio is decent, nothing too special. I did ask myserver to light the candle and she said it's too windy, and to be truly honest, it wasn't windy at all. So I asked her to lightit anyway for the vibe, and she paused and said that she will do it when she has time. LOL. I waited and waited but she nevergot around to lighting the candle. Read more
