Honestly I have mixed feelings about this place. I come here pretty often because it is halal. I haven?t tried a lot of the menu... as I just order the chow mein. I just tried the Chilli chicken and It wasn?t bad. The spice and sauce was nice with the chickenbeing pretty tender. Reliability is the issue I have with this place. Often times I get tough meat and old tasteless food. Stillbetter then most hakka spots. I would recommend this spot if you are travelling near by and want to have halal Asian cuisine.Their menu is huge which often is pretty scary as big menus are pretty sketchy. The meat is sourced from a halal meat spot sotrust me when I say it?s hand cut halal. Overall, this place doesn?t deserve 5 stars and barely deserves the 4 stars I gave it.The reason why I have it 4 stars instead of 3 is because of the portion and prices. One chow mein can fill up two big men or 3maybe 4 children. I won?t be eating the chilli chicken as it just isn?t for me but before you buy anything you shoulddefinitely have the Veggie, Chicken, or Beef Chow Mein. Edit: I also forgot to mention the lady who works there is sometimesdisrespectful to other customers. Please don?t take it to heart she has been working there for years by herself and they seem tobe extremely understaffed. She is very nice when she gets to know you. Edit 2: since coming back to this place it has seemedthe quality of the food has drastically dropped. If you are coming by I wouldn?t recommend it as a halal food option. I wouldrather go to Mary Browns, Popeyes, or the bellagios pizza store right beside it. This place is beyond inconsistency. It?sbecome more consistently terrible. FRAUD RESTAURANT! HORRIBLE FOOD! The noodles and rice they serve are DRIPPING oil, BLAND, TASTELESS. Absolutely UNHEALTHY... (except for the barely fried veggies). CHARGED 2 DOLLARS EXTRA in the bill, which I saw after reaching home. Before draftingthis review, I checked other reviews and my suspect was right. They were charged 2 Extra Dollars for nothing and I bet only avery few notice their bills as +2 doesn?t make up to a lot on the bill, but what a shame to loot, cheat their own loyalcustomers!!! Sure, first few bites might taste good if the food is hot, but when I could barely finish the meal, all I could saywas - What a disaster! Read more
Great hakka place in Ajax. The lady was very patient on the phone when she was taking my order. Ordered a small party tray of... chilli chicken and a small party try of chow mein. And it was a good portion for the price. Read more
Absolute worst Pad Thai I have ever had in my life. Food was cold and disgusting. The Pad Thai was prominently made with Ketchup... and had a really strong ketchup taste. Worst meal I've had in a long time. Costed me $20 and went straight to the trash. Read more
This place is a hit or miss with a higher chance of being a miss. Customer service is trash. Food quality is not great. Few... years ago this was the best Hakka place in terms of quality and quantity of the food. But man it just keeps getting worse by theyear. I go back with the hopes that they read some of these reviews and start to get their act together but no unfortunately.Once a place with great potential is now going down the drain. Read more
