Very nice place with awesome customer service. We went to this on a Saturday evening around 7:30 P.M. It wasn't that busy but... after we went all the tables started to fill up quickly. They have a digital menu so be ready to scan the menu or better toreview the menu before you go to the place. We tried Hot chocolates and Milkshakes. They have a lot of variety in their menufrom pancakes to burgers. Prices are reasonable for a desert place. Definitely recommend to try this place. Read more

This is an interesting place. The decor was funky. My kids liked it. Personally, I think the food was not good. If you go there... just stick to the desserts. The waffle cone was strange. So sweet the first thing that comes to mind after eating here. Make sure you have a sweet tooth before coming hear because I... couldn?t believe the amount of sugar. I really like the rose ice cream very Delicious. The Ferraro pie was way too sweet for mecouldn?t have more than 3 bites. The presentation is amazing and the server was very nice and helpful. We love desserts and were really looking forward to our visit to D Spot, having read all of the wonderful reviews. Our... experience was mixed though. The server was friendly and we got a table easily (weekend afternoon), but I was disappointed whenwe got dirty dishes (there were leftovers stuck on the plates) and stained cutlery (chocolate stains). The server apologizedimmediately and brought us fresh plates. The dessert portions were large, but the bananas were over-ripe. I was also surprisedto see the server handling a crepe with his bare hands behind the counter. At the other dessert place we go to, I have alwaysseen staff handle food with gloves on. All together, the visit was pleasant, but I think the other dessert place (in Whitby)remains our favourite. Read more

Really aesthetic and funky place. Food was good and cheesecake was great. I gave it 3 stars because both hot chocolates had such... a weird taste to it it seemed it like it was made from skim or a weird milk. It was the first time I was disappointed with a hotchocolate. We went there about 2 days ago after looking at the reviews on google. We did go there when it was an hour until closing. We... went in and saw that they were slightly busy but they were extremely slow when it came to cleaning up the dirty tables. Therewere so many tables that could have been cleaned faster. They were not prepared for a potential rush. They left the garbageright beside our table without finishing the cleaning, making it really uncomfortable to eat. They did not give us water andcutlery right away and they seemed like they were trying to avoid the customers at some times. The only reason as to why theyare receiving the 2 stars is because the desserts were really good. We really enjoyed them. The bad service really killed thevibe. We would probably look to go to a different location to avoid this disappointment. We would really appreciate for theOwner to see this and take some action into changing this. Read more
