So we have lived in Durham for years and drove past this place a million times and finally went back in the summer, we were... impressed enough to to back for a second time tonight. This small family (and I mean ????) run business has great fresh food andgood prices considering the current inflation. Look if you can afford to eat out you will find this place good value based onportion size. Go and try this place for yourself, mother and daughter will give you a good meal in a nice setting. It's not often that I give a 5 star review. A quaint little place. Clean, warm and cozy. Yes there are criticisms that you can... make about any place however; FOR THE PRICE,this is one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to int the GTA. Allaround amazing! 2 apps, 3 drinks and 2 entries $119 tax in. Subtle tastes that were fantastic without overpowering flavors. Highly recommend. Try the stuffed chicken breast. Wow! Muscles wow. Excellent dining. I had the pollo pinieno, chicken breast stuffed with peppers and feta cheese. I was leary because I've had... stuffed dishes where it was hard to find the stuffing. This chicken was overflowing with feta. The vegetables were lovely andthe sauce with caramelized onion was a perfect accent to the meal. Read more
It was my first time visiting Casa Verde. This restaurant has been on my list of places to visit for years and I?m happy I... finally got it off my list. Everything tasted amazing- from the appetizer, to the main and lastly the dessert. Hands down thebest TIRMASU ever. Parking was a little rough- but it was worth the hassle.
