First time eating in this location, I was so shocked by their menu and decorations inside. Never seen a California sandwich that... look like this location and has this much variety of options that I can order. I ordered a hot veal with no sauce with justonions and hot peppers. Their onions, OH MY GOD just so amazing!!!!! The bun was very fresh, the veal was crisp outside andjuicy inside, I was amazed by the amount of meat and toppings that they could fit into the bun!! Didn?t get a chance to trytheir drinks since I was driving that day, but MAN THEY LOOKED PRETTY! A sandwich shop that has drinks and delicious food?Please expect me to always be there :) Read more

I was so happy to find California's & just had to order for my family my favourite from them, veal & provolone sandwiches. I... also treated my family to onion rings to go with our order. Its been a long while since I've found good onion rings & thosewere the best onion rings! And the veal sandwich was just as yummy and large as I remembered it being, (I often went to theToronto location when I was in university). I used their online ordering system & it was a breeze to use & I soon had my orderto pick up. Happened upon this place today after an appointment in the area. Great food, Huge portions, great price. We ate inside, the... server was amazing. Comfy pub atmosphere, come as you are type of place. I will definitely visit again if I am in Ajax. Read more
The only cal sans location I had yet to go to was this ajax location and after my first visit there today it'll go back to... staying away. Shrinkflation is the real deal here! 90% bun! What a joke! This could probably been the worst food I have ever had in my life. We couldn't eat, period. Nothing is fresh,it seems like they... just reheat frozen pieces and bring them to your table. We ordered "steak" sandwiches and they tasted like cardboard,disgusting!. The benches were run down, pices of fabric coming off. This place needs an intervention. Lovely waitress though. Read more
