I have now tried 5 Mexican eateries since moving to Aiken a year or so ago. This restaurant is by far the worst of the lot. The... beans were SOUR, as in spoiled and the other things we ordered were tasteless, no flavor. Chips and salsa were prettystandard. PS: The restaurant also had a very bad, sour-spoiled smell. Loved it. Sam, our waiter was fantastic. I went with his recommendation & got 3 street tacos..was a delicious recommendation!... My brother had Victoria's enchiladas.. On average $11 per person. Had 2 take away burritos & according to my son both verygood & easy to reheat for his next day lunch. I will definitely be back. Hopefully it will be just as good next time. Read more

The food wasn't really all that good. I had the Steak a la Mexicana. The meat was tough and grisly with several blobs of fat. ... The taste was okay. Not great, not so bad. The salsa was remarkably unremarkable. The server was a clean cut young man. VeryFriendly, very attentive, almost too attentive. The place seemed clean. And it didn't smell like Lysol. You know it's bad when the white people start complaining about lack of flavor. We decided to try a different Mexican restaurant... and chose this one. I wish I had nice things to say. About the only thing I can say was the pico and guacamole was good. I gaveit 2 stars for that. We ordered fajitas, queso and tamales. Pretty much everything was dry from being old and reheated or it waslacking flavor. The salsa was literally tomato water and they gave me the worst tamale of my life. Circle k tamales are betterthan what they gave me. It was was so dry, chewy and tasteless. I understand we are all going through some things but you haveto serve good food to get repeat customers. Oh my goodness, I'm still full and I ordered this 2 nights ago! First time eating here and I enjoyed it. The flavors weren't... bland at all and the portion size was awesome. One of the best places to get Mexican food. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and was of better quality than any other place I've... had. The nachos were out of this world.
