Super cute patio and delicious food!! We brought our dog here and had such an amazing experience! The entire staff made us and... our dog feel welcome! The bartender even came over and asked to pet our dog, which our dog LOVED! They even have dog bowls youcan fill with water for your pup. We all got bacon cheeseburgers, and shared the chips trio. The bacon cheeseburger was to diefor - perfectly cooked and tasted amazing!! The cheese dip and salsa and guacamole with the chips trio was so tasty! The patiohad very comfortable seats and the temperature was perfect. As previous reviews have mentioned - if you sit on the patio, youcan seat yourself wherever and then go up to a window to order. They have trivia on Wednesday nights, which I wish we would?vestayed for - it sounded super fun! Read more
Food was good but not worth the price & forced gratuities for no service. Really did not appreciate the forced 18% gratuity for... the patio seating, when the staff just sat behind the counter not doing anything. I'd totally understand if we actually had aserver and there being an auto-grat, but we basically had to wait on ourselves (running to get our drinks, napkins etc.) I usedto be a waiter, and in my past serving experience, there needs to be clear signage indicating the gratuity service charge. Ate on the patio. Had to wait in a long line to order food at a window. Yet there was an 18% patio charge and a 3% surcharge... added in. I ordered my drink separately by going up to the bar inside. The extra charges were also on that bill. I have gonehere often in the past. The food is fine, the newly remodeled space is nice. The outside patio is great. The extra charges arenew. I understand staff shortages and having to order at a window may help with that, but the extra charges are new and don?tmake sense when I don?t use wait staff. I also understand the need to increase prices. I would prefer it was an honest priceincrease and not a surprise charge on my bill. I see from other reviews the owner called someone a Karen who complained aboutsomething so I expect a snarky response to this post. Just a word of advice, name calling customers might not be a wise businessmove. Read more
The prices are outrageous. My wife and I ordered 2 beers and the total was $18.32, that was after they add 18% service charge. I... am all for tipping on service, but you have to go up to the window, order and wait for your drink. The girl in the window nevergot out of her chair. We lived right down the street and love to support local businesses, but we won't be going back there. Read more
This was our 3rd visit to the Lumberyard Pub this year. The first time was a solid 4.5 to 5 star rating. The service is... friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and the food is consistently good. Unfortunately on the past two visits the positiveswere mostly overshadowed by games going on (first Bingo and this time trivia) being broadcast loudly over speakers for theentire bar and patio. Music was still being played on the outdoor/patio speakers as well, making it extremely difficult to relaxand enjoy conversation with our friends. It would be nice if they would limit this to just one area and provide an area forpeople who want a little quieter experience on a Wednesday evening. We'll be back for all the positives, but never again on agame night. Read more
Recommendation from a friend to pay a visit. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised to find a small bar atmosphere with great food... on just two pages. Olivia did an awesome job taking care of us and hats off to the chef on great meals! Thank you very muchand we will be back! Read more
Trying a new spot. Burger was ok. I thought the patty was a little over done. The fries were definitely over done. But the... overall experience wasn't too bad. The staff are very courteous and quick. The drink menu was good. Read more
After some time on the boat, we walked a short 5 minute walk to The Lumberyard Pub. Nice facility with indoor, outdoor, or... open-air bar seating. With rain approaching we asked to get our orders to go. They were very accommodating. Food was fresh andtasty. Read more
