Let me just say, this is my third time to visit this establishment in the past 30 days. I wanted to be fair and wait until I had... several interactions and orders completed before I formed an opinion. So one could conclude that this is not a one-off, butrather a fair review over multiple visits to Smokies BBQ in Addison, Texas. A previous reviewer nailed it with one word,"underwhelming." another reviewer stated "overpriced," and both are spot-on. I have to abandon this review at this time, butwill be back soon to add my personal experiences. Ok, I'm back, it's May now, but finally got a second to post the pic of thesandwich, or lack thereof, I ordered and specifically asked the woman to please cut the fat off. Well as you can see shefattened it up quite nicely for me, then left me with a bun and a litttttttttle bitty bit of meat on my $7 sandwich. How kindof her. Never going here again. If you happen to find yourself in that little strip mall though and you're starved and needsomething decent, and it's before 3pm, go to the taco joint there. It's a tad over-priced, but it's decent and the owner is a"hoot and a holler," and kind of "shucks and jibes" with customers. He has a bit of an old school potty mouth though, so leavethe kiddos in the car while you run in. Read more

Most disgusting food I ever taste, barbecue sauce was watery, made me sick to my f***king stomach.

OMG The food is so amazing, especially the brisket salad, words cant explain how great this place is. I haven't tasted great... food since I've been in Texas, this is definitely my eating place. If you haven't tried it already you must go today if I do sayso myself!!!!!!! Read more

This place has GREAT BBQ and it is a lot different than your average BBQ that you will ever get anywhere else!
