They were out of Krystals for 20 minutes, which is pitiful to begin. I was then stuck in the drive through line for 10 minutes... while just trying to leave, behind 1 car because they wouldn't have them pull up while they waited for their food. I should have know by the fact it was the only restaurant without any customers that I had made a bad choice. I asked for no... onions which I was told it?s already cooked with onions so we just scrap them off. First, I am from Chicago and used to love White Castle burgers since i was a pre-teen... NOW I love Krystal burgers much... better! My wife and I stopped at this location on our way home from visiting our son in northern Illinois. When we arrived, Iwalked up to the door and noticed that the dining room was closed for the day, but the drive-through was still opened. As Iturned to walk away, Octavius opened the door to tell me that he could take my order instead of going through the drivr through.I asked about the difference in burger sizes and pricing. He explained everything so clearly and quickly, I was very impressed.He took my order and as I waited he futher explained that he knew about White Castle burgers, and Krystal burgers were farbetter. I can say that I am now a believer and will visit Krystal burgers whenever I get the hankerin for one of these litlebites of Heaven. Let me tell you about my visits and then give my opinion on some other reviews.... This location has some of the best associated... and they are very friendly. So food, the other day I tried the new chicken side kicks. They are great and tasty and the chickenwas moist, the pimento cheese was a great addition. Today I had the Krystal Sunriser egg, cheese, sausage on a Krystal bun.These are always very good and 2 for $3 is a value to me. Now I have been eating Krystal since 1965 and I get tired of thecomments of the soggy bun. The way they are cooked gives the bun the "soggy" part! In the old days you could see the grill andhow they are cooked. Meat on grill , cook then turn over now a dob of onions, bottm of bun on top then the top bun on it. So themeat cooks and the steam cooks the onions and the bun picks up the flovor..so it is part of the process and the bun will havesome soggyness..(my made up word).That is part of the unique taste of the "Krystal", if you want toasted buns go to BK!
