Best BarBeQue I have had in a long time. The serving size was well enough. Food was great and I will definitely be back.

Quick service. The ribs advertised as 2 servings actually fed 6 with some left over. Good, flavorful meat. Mac and cheese good... but salty. Collards inedible. TOO MUCH SALT! ABOUT 5X TOO MUCH SALT! when the restaurant was just Nick's, the food was a littletoo salty. Now that it is Jim and Nick's, it is WAY worse. I'll be OK to buy meat again, but never another side. I was really excited about getting some southern ribs? however, I was disappointed!! 1) The ribs were truly smoked, but to the... point there was a little more bone than ribs. 2) I mistook the bowl of sauce, for a side item. The ribs arrived naked, thatthrough me, bc, I was definitely looking for some smoked bar bq ribs! 3) The ribs weren?t seasoned, and if they were, I couldn?ttell? and secondly, the sauce was decent, but not enough in the sauce to save those unseasoned ribs!! Went twice and really good BBQ. Ate I the first time and the portions were better dine in than when we got Togo the next day.... They didn't get the Togo order correct and had to go back after driving home. Getting smaller portions on the second trip wasdisappointing. Still the food was consistent. Read more

I have given them their last chance. I?ve gone in 4 times around 7 when we get home from work and they are out of baked... potatoes. We even called ahead and asked if they had potatoes this time. We were told yes and then when we got there 10 minuteslater we were told there were no potatoes. You still have an hour before close! There is no excuse. First you shouldn?t beclosing at 8. Too early for a restaurant on the weekend. Second if you are open til 8 you should have your complete menu untilthen. Baked potatoes can be used the next day if you have too many. If you don?t want to carry them take them off the menu. Justlike you did Brunswick stew. Dumb move. Brunswick stew is a bbq favorite. I don?t know who?s running this place but they need tobe fired and replaced now! I will not be back. EVER!!!! They don?t want to be open so they should close their doors. Absolute WORST experience ever!!! Attempted to go through the drive-thru and sat there for a long time behind one car. I ended... up just going inside to order. The young lady running the bar was very nice, but after I ordered I waited quite a while for myorder. There didn?t seem to be any sense of urgency with the staff, specifically the kitchen staff carried themselves as ifthey really didn?t care. The woman who appeared to be a manager (maybe she wasn?t, not sure), finally called my name and handedme my food. She didn?t seem to really care that we had waited so long. I get there are staffing issues but some communicationfrom the staff to the customers would really help. Read more

I guess putting the Jim back in the Nicks made all the difference! We?ve had wonderful experiences the past few visits and we... haven?t been in a few years. My wife ordered a baked potato with pulled pork for my son and came home with a nerf football sizepotato and they weren?t cheap on the amount of meat they gave him! Wow!! This thing is massive. He will get two full meals outof this! Read more

New to the area, and them not being busy really, after ordering, getting drinks, and getting a seat, it took them 40 minutes to... bring us our biscuits and appetizer. The tea was pure sugar, our food was warm at best, the cheese on the appetizer wasn?tmelted. We ordered two of the same app, they were delivered to the table with different things on them. I?ve paid less money forthree times as much meat as I got with my entrée, and the brisket entree was mostly fat. We will not be returning. I paidnearly $70 for 4 people, 2 of which are small children, to eat less than we would?ve gotten anywhere else. Read more
