Restaurants have been struggling and closing throughout the pandemic and are still struggling with finding staff. Then you have... covidiots like the one below that cries like a baby because he supposedly couldn't dine in yet or ask questions. I wonder if thecovidiot would give a bad review for every place that does only take out. It's listed on their website, nothing surprising orvery disappointing about it. We love this place, dine in or take out the food here has always been consistently amazing.Comparing this place to Old Town Cafe is like comparing the Outback to Del Frisco's. Read more

Still not open for indoor dining, menu looks interesting but you can't ask questions about new cuisine. Mass is one of the most... vaccinated states in the country and the fact that they still haven't opened up for indoor is surprising. Very disappointed.Went to old Town Cafe instead. Read more

Take out from Double Horse Bistro in Abington. They haven't opened for in person dining yet, but that didn't stop several groups... of people from setting up their own beach chairs and makeshift tables to enjoy the food in the lot. The Korean double friedwings were still super crispy after we got home, even down to the last bite. The cubano sandwich was honestly better than theone we had in Florida, there's a crispy seared layer of swiss cheese running along the edge and it tastes unbelievable. The phois listed as a Hanoi style, comes with a fried cruller for dipping, my hub got his with a giant tender roasted short rib, it ishands down the best pho we've ever had. Our go to was Pho So 1 in Randolph and Pho Hoa in Dorchester until Double Horse spoiledus and made every other pho tastes so watered down. The Irish benny is unbelievable, the best home made corned beef hash we hadanywhere, the hollandaise sauce is superbly done here, no ready mix or weird concoctions, just a perfect classic done right withthe right amount of seasoning, tart, and velvety smooth. The buffalo chicken omelet is a must try for anyone who loves buffalo-ydishes, with grilled chicken, scallions, sriracha aioli, buffalo sauce, and crumbled blue cheese melted with the eggs makes itso decadent and flavorful. Everything at this place is consistently phenomenal. The grandkids don't eat the food here, theyinhaled it. Place is worth 10 stars. Read more

Any true Pho-natics or Vietnamese food lovers out there? My first and long overdue review of Double Horse Bistro on here. We've... been going to the DHB since they opened over 2 years ago. I have worked my way through their entire menu and have yet to findanything less than exceptional or inconsistent. Today's treat : Pho oxtail, Vermicelli with beef, Pushcart Summer rolls. Myin-laws are Vietnamese, southern to be specific. We're from Garden Grove Cali. Since moving to MA, we have literally tried everypho place in Randolph, Quincy, Dorchester, Boston, RI and most recently on our trip to NY such as the highly acclaimed HanoiHouse and Madame Vo in Manhattan. Even my mother in law whom I actually get along with, makes the best pho at home. It's a knownfact that every place uses msg in their broth to various degrees, including my mil. The broth at DHB is night and day the best. It's all about the bones and technique, no msg here, none better or more consistent. Their broth is highly curated and refined, rich and so aromatic you have to take a long sniff before diving in. Love how they neatly arrange and present all the condimentsto go separately in a box and not in a plastic bag, wished every place does this. They roast the Pro tip : no need to add hoisinto the broth as you would normally do. Squeeze and stir the lime juice into the hoisin separately and dip your meat on the sidewhile you're slurping away with both hands. The Vermicelli is one word, incredible. I like how all the veggies is perfectlyjulienned and not in big chunks, the nem (sausage patty) is straight up, no fillers. Cha gio is Vietnamese spring rolls and isvery different from any other kinds, well made and flavored with the correct ingredients. The meats are charbroiled not flashfried like most places. The nuoc mam sauce is strong and authentic to the core, not just sweet and tangy, so pour that all overand slurp away. The Pushcart rolls? It's edible crack, no way to explain it, just addicting Read more

This place is really amazing, it's so clean, the restroom is spotless and beautiful, smells good too! The menu is very diverse... and the food is just simply phenomenal. Everything we've had here so far has been more than stellar. Everything is beautifullypresented but most importantly, very well executed . Ordered a vermicelli bowl take out from Pho Countryside in Quincy last weekand it was really sad looking, every single time, they even forgot the fish sauce, for $14, really! Tried Double Horse and theirvermicelli bowl last night and it blew me away. The presentation, quality, quantity and taste is night and day here. Read more

The ribs are delicious!!!! This place is located in a plaza in Abington, MA and had been around about 6 months. They sell... modern American Asian food. The food is presented very well and is just as good. I would go again. I told friends about italready. Pros: Food is awesome especially the ribs Free parking Quick service, I went on a sunday around 11am and there was nowait Nice Decor Sell the whole menu all day, breakfast and lunch Large portions of food, especially the soup Cons: nothing toobad. 1st time there, the waiter rushed us to pick our choices, coming to the table multiple times when I wasn't ready. Themenu is pretty diverse and I wanted to make the right choice. She was friendly but I felt rushed. I was hoping I could get asmall soup as a starter ...but they only had large bowls as a main meal. Not really a big deal at all. I thought the jasmineride I ordered came with the veggies and eggs mixed within it but it it was nicely presented around the rice. Read more
