In the 15 or so years since the last time I visited I have never eaten a better crab cake. They are some of the best!!! Amazing... lump crab cakes. The 8oz is massive and almost all meat. Always my GO-TO when it comes to crabcakes. Worth every penny. Big, filling and hefty and the best words to describe it. I've... been going here for years but this was the first time I had their carrot cake and lemon berry cake. Now, I'm not a big fan of"whole fruits" in my desserts but even with me taking out the berries the flavor was still infused from just being in it. Youshould really try it. A friend of mine gets their Canoli's and raves about it. They have really good pizza, big slices, food isfresh, the dining room is clean and the staff is wonderful. I did not partake in their crab cakes, but my sister did and said they were delicious. Everything our table had (there was 6 of... us) was so good. You have to try their crabby waffle fries (chef's kiss)!!! The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly andthe atmosphere was nice. Read more

Ever. *** My husband and I are native New Yorker?s and while on the last leg of our vacation road trip, I... reached out to my brother in law who is a native to Maryland and always brought me and my family these amazing crab cakes, but Icould not remember where they were from, he told us the location and we made it the final pit stop of our trip! Well, let metell you, this was the perfect final dinner for our little summer vacation and road trip ! The best note to end on! My husbandwas in absolute heaven trying their crab cakes! He is a foodie and grew up with an Executive Greek Chef for a Father, and hasextremely high standards for food in general and especially for seafood. In his exact words after the second bite.. ?omg, Iwould pay $100 for this crab cake!? Thank you to the Kanaras family for keeping it real, authentic, fresh, and the quality thesame as I remember it from years ago! The owner / son came out and spoke with us and was absolutely so gracious and genuine, areally authentic and wonderful person, thank you! We stopped in to Boxhill Pizzeria & Crab Cakes for dinner and were completely satisfied. We got 2 orders of the 8oz Crab Cake... Platter, the Hot Roast Beef, and the Fried Shrimp Platter. Garlic bread was brought out for the table. The crabcakes lived upto their reputation as being some of the best I?ve had. Great size and little filler served with tarter and cocktail sauce. Itcame with fries that were cooked well and a sweet tasting coleslaw. The roast beef was also served with fries and tasted good.It came on top of slices of bread, smothered in gravy with the only critique being that more meat was desired. The fried shrimpalso tasted good. Pretty standard for your average fried shrimp. On other visits, I?ve tried the pizza. I would say you can?tgo wrong if you stick to the pizza or crabcakes. It would be nice if they offered a single menu item that included a sample ofboth. Read more
