Quality has diminished, But just hire me and I'll set things straight. I've been a cook since a child and have strived to serve... Quality over quantity, Make me your head cook or the sous chef and I'll be transparent and whip the kitchen and place intoshape (Was, Maybe a good year ago) ABSOLUTELY BUSSIN, No doubt about it. If you have the time and money make a stop by lighthouse for some of the best made to order food, Always hot, Ready and Delicious. I try to go bi-weekly with the family and theyall enjoy going into the diner. Very long wait, we had to be parked. We got the anchor Lighthouse special and milkshake. The shale ce instantly but was so thick... we used a spoon. Tasted great tho. The burgers were so well made and great fresh eating. Love the fry sauce as well. Read more

The food has gone downhill in the last year or so. The meat now is tough and rubbery. The beer battered fries hardly have any... breading to them. They used to be so good and now you still have to pay extra for beer batter but there is hardly any on thefry. I couldn't even finish my burger it was gross. Used to have big sesame seed buns. Now they are small just plain bun. Ourfamily won't be going back which is sad cause we loved them before. I've been talking to people around the community that saysthey understand and agree it's gone downhill. They won't be open this time next year. I'm sure they will blame the pandemic orpeople being broke that they can't eat out anymore. Not true. They just won't go there anymore. Read more
Went with family based upon reports of the food being great. The fries were good clam chowder sadly expected more and tasted... processed and I wasn't happy with the amount I paid for and the fish a bit greasy and thought the pieces would have been biggerthough better it's tasted fair -ive had worse experiences so the fish and chip experience I will say is fair but not great irbest- sorry. Perhaps another time the experience would be better. Though the staff was friendly just felt super lax and chilland expected more and room for improvement. I've worked the service industry and perhaps I'm biased in that respect. Definitelysee the charm of the local diner and the appeal as it being a spot to go but overall hoped for more and got less.
