????Ordered food for pick up which was over 43.00 + 5.00 tip. They forgot the beans and rice that was a separate order, the... carnita tacos (only 3) were more fat then meat. I also ordered the menudo that had a HUGE hoof knuckle in it that took up 1/3 ofthe container at 17.00 which I ended up throwing away. I should have asked if they put hominy which I thought everyone does. Itwas undercooked and the pieces around 4" in squares it honestly in my opinion was THE WORST MENUDO EVER!!! To bad. I will nevereat there again. And BENJI should have been a little nicer! They are the ones who messed up my order and put a XLarge bone thatwas very unappealing. Dinner specials and daily specials. The food was cooked fresh and delicious. My son got shrimp tacos and I ordered shrimp... quesadilla. We both had leftovers that didn't get thrown away. You could taste the freshness of the food and the waitress wasattentive and helpful. Will be back. Read more
We've been coming to at Benji's Mexican Grill for the past 6 years and it just keeps getting better. After a recent renovation,... the atmosphere is authentically charming, the food is delicious, the pricing is competitive, and the service is exceptional. Forour money, it's the best Mexican cuisine in all of Moore County. We are blessed and fortunate to have Benji's as part of ourrestaurant community. We went to Benji?s for the first time early on a Tuesday so we could avoid the crowds. The food was not impressive at all. With this Mexican restaurant being so close to Pinehurst, this has the potential to be the new hot spot! The burritios and... quesadillas is a family favorite. Enjoyable (pictured: passion fruit) margaritas and mango flavored water, for those who don'timbibe, neither overwhelmingly sweet! Food tastes fresh! Homemade corn tortilas, salsa, and chips (the salsa was so good Ialmost wanted to drink it). While we usually do take out, this is an easy choice for family dining in or a girl's night out. Since they have moved to hwy 5 me and some friend wanted to give it a try. Food was excellent but the service was not but our... second visit was perfect. They were fully staffed. Food is cooked to order so don't expect fast food. It's hot and taste. Wifeand I ate there wed night and food and service was awesome. The staff is on the ball. Read more
Awesome employees all around!! I have celiac , the waitress asked the chef each time I had a question about an item on the... menu, making sure it would be safe for me. When I did order she even made a note next to my order stating my diet issues!!!! Then during the meal, the Owner came out and asked how everything was then turned to me and asked if I was the one with theceliac, and made sure everything was OK with me!!!!
