Reviews for Seaside Pearl Winery in Abbotsford, BC
We love Seaside Pearl Winery so much!! We go there once a year every time we come back to Vancouver for a visit. The wine is... great but what's even better are the staff working there. The owner and employees are so friendly. It's way too easy to spend anentire afternoon there just getting to know everyone! Read more
We had our wedding at the beautiful Seaside Pearl Winery last week. The venue was absolutely stunning, and we cant say enough... about how wonderful the staff was. Alison and David were amazing to work with and truly helped us make it such a special day inevery way! They went out of their way to make sure every detail was looked after, and all our guests commented on how welcomingand lovely they were. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for helping give us a day we'll never forget! Read more
We showed up today after a disappointing experience elsewhere. Seaside Pearl was so lovely and the staff very friendly and... accommodating. The wines were delicious, especially the Petit Milo, and the setting is gorgeous! We'll be back soon! Read more
I have been here twice now, and both experiences were very good. The tasting room is beautiful, as are both patios - some of... the nicest/cleanest I've seen in the lower mainland. I love that each wine is named after a historic event/person, it givescharacter to the bottles, and can be a conversation starter. The sommelier we had was knowledgeable and professional. Thetasting fee is on the high side, but you get to try I think 6 wines, where most places it's only 4. You don't get to pick whichones to try though. You also need to buy 2 bottles of wine for them to waive the tasting fee, which is more than most places. Both times we went we got fresh berries/nuts to have with our tasting, as well as a bottle of water, which is a nice touch. Ibelieve reservations are required for tastings. The website used to say something about needing to purchase a bottle or two inorder to sit on the patio. Honestly that's what stopped me from coming here sooner, it seemed steep. I don't know if that'sstill the case though, I couldn't find anything like that on their website anymore, so maybe they've done away with that rule. Both times we went, we did buy 2 or more bottles so it wasn't an issue anyway. Overall I think this winery is very beautiful, and we have had great experiences there so will be back for sure! What a great experience I had. Staff & owner were very friendly. The tasting was a nice line-up of 8 wines. Their reds were... fabulous. The staff decided to do a 3 years vertical tasting and they offered me to join :) That winery was my #1 in the area Read more
Not recommend AT ALL! Rude host! We purchased 5 bottles around 166$ and he was too impolite and obsessed! One of us only could... taste one sample and we bought others based on own experience! "The host didn't let us taste anything." Not recommend it atall! We had a great experience after this place in single tree winery which is 5 min from here and amazing people will creatgreat time for you. Go for there and don't waste our time here???????? Read more
A delightful small scale winery that is fun to visit or use as a venue setting. Set in vineyards with gorgeous views of Mount... Baker, the family has set the location up as a wine tasting chapel which can be used for weddings with outdoor patios or indoorsat the Barrel room. Wines are decent with lots of info from the host. Wine taste is very person specific but the four of usvisiting had a great time and enjoyed the wide variety they had on offer. Because it is a small batch winery(2,000 cases) theymay be sold out of your favourite quickly Enjoy Read more
