My wife and I have been regular customers for years, and really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, recently we ordered takeout,... and one dish was completely rotten. I brought it back and was hoping for a pleasant customer service interaction, but themanager/owner who was in the kitchen at the time refused to come out to speak to me, despite my being very respectful. Theyrefused to do anything the make it right, when a good faith customer service gesture would have been to offer some kind ofcompensation. I am pretty disappointed by this poor customer service. In the future, if you make someone food that is rotten, and they drive all the way back to return it, give them something for free to make up for it. You?ve lost a customer Read more
I normally don?t leave reviews for restaurants but wow. Server didn?t really acknowledge us at first. Portions are the smallest... thing I?ve EVER SEEN. We ordered enough sashimi (all you can eat) for 3 people and we received one small piece of tuna that wascubed. Barely enough for a child. The one thing I was most surprised by was the spicy tuna roll? canned tuna. Prices not worthit at all. My local restaurant is 150 % better. Read more
Don?t bother with this place. It seems that ownership has switched hands in the last two years or so. This, and Sagano (used to... be beside KFC and One Stop Love Shop on S.Fraser before closing shop) were really good AYCE sushi restaurants back in the day,but that is no longer the case? I?ve never seen a restaurant skimp so hard before. First of all, they limit the dinner AYCEmenu to only 2 slips/orders, which would be justifiable had it included premium/high end sushi rolls and more variety of BBQitems, but their dinner menu is very bare bones. As other users had mentioned in their reviews, what would normally be an orderof a single piece of sashimi, gets butchered into like 8 tiny chunks and counted as such which is ridiculous considering theyalso limit the amount of sashimi you can order (at an AYCE). The portions for the other items are just as bad? A bowl of udonliterally consists of 2 strings of 5 cm noodles in an over-salted ?broth? which can be finished in a single bite. The chickenand beef teriyaki had no flavor. I kid you not, even the TV's hanging in the corner seem to be smaller than what used to hang inthose spots. Rather than an AYCE feast, this felt like a taste-test of an inconsiderably small amount of overall subpar items. Iget that they are trying hard to limit food waste, but this is unironically the opposite of "less is more"; instead of servingnice respectable portions, the customers need to keep ordering and waiting for these small dishes that the kitchen needs tospend even more time preparing... this is very inefficient when they need to keep grabbing different ingredients, switchingwoks, taking orders etc to cook small batches as opposed to large ones, of things the customers keep ordering The service wasnot up to standard. The servers were friendly, but we were one of the only tables in there on a slow weekday evening, and wecouldn?t even get water refills without having to ask each time. Considering how small the portions wer Read more
Not terrible. Got a platter, but one could tell certain rolls were made not fresh to order, but some of them were. You could... tell be the rice and California rolls were sitting But half the platter tasted fresher. My woman love sushi, but it wasn't goodenough for her. Read more

This is NOT all you can eat! They limit you to two order slips now. Did not know that when my friend and I went on the weekend.... We ordered conservatively, as we didn't want to order too much food and not finish it. We went to order a third time and theserver refused and said we could only get dessert. If we had known of this new rule (as I've been going here about 20 years),we would've gone elsewhere. We were both still hungry when we left. Do not go to this restaurant if you're looking for all youcan eat! Read more
