I had the pleasure of planning my mom's 90th Birthday recently. When I started looking into caterers for the event, I was... astonished and overwhelmed with the choices in Abbotsford (while I live in Ontario). But when I started focusing in on thecontent of the Google Reviews, the pictures showing the events that MMK had catered previously convinced me they were the bestchoice. And they did not disappoint! Oh, what a spectacular job they did providing three mains and (and a fourth of spaghettiand meatballs for the kids), three salads, etc. Family and friends at the party were asking after the recipes for their BeefCurry and Chicken Alfredo! They took care of everything - linens for the serving section, all the tools for the meal for all,etc. And a clear demonstration of their commitment to their craft was they were happy to put on the meal on a Sunday from 4 to7 PM. The amounts were generous and the minor left-overs were packaged up for take-aways for attendees. Thank you so much forall your wonderful food and services that changed this from a get-together into a wonderful and many-praised celebration enjoyedby all! The British European dishes have flavour but are super salty. The south Asian dishes are bland and a disgrace to the culture of... origin. If you have below average food expectations/standards you will be happy with the food. I would suggest Michelle?s stickthe European western style dishes. Read more

One recent, crazy work day I decided to order something for dinner, but I didn't want typical takeout food. I decided to check... out Mama Michelle's Kitchen and I'm so glad I did! I got a wonderful just like homemade meal to heat & serve at home with sidesfor my family. Everyone loved it! It was great quality, fairly priced, and the young woman at the cash was friendly and helpful(even though I popped in just 20 minutes before closing). We'll be back! We absolutely love Mama Michelle's Kitchen! Our daughter first told us about it. She said they had gluten free options. Wow! Was... she ever right. We were thrilled to find a place that offers so many gluten free, keto and healthy options for meals. They evenhave gluten-free lasagna. They have a variety of fresh salads and each one is packed with ingredients. Everything they make isso flavourful and tastes homemade. Their meals come in different sizes. My husband and I share a small and it is plenty of foodfor us. For gatherings we get the larger sizes. They also have a variety of gluten free and keto desserts - Yum! They have aselection of meal and dessert sauces, too. At first, we were just picking up the frozen meals, whatever they had on hand. But,we just tried their custom order option. They have a well organized menu of everything they offer, which we found very helpful.Then, we simply placed the order and picked it up a couple days later. It was very convenient and we?ll be doing that from nowon. We freeze them and now we have several meals on hand whenever we need them. This place is conveniently located in the middleof Abbotsford. Their customer service is great, and the managers have extensive knowledge of all their meals. Today was my first experience with Mama Michelle's kitchen. The lady inside, I think she was the owner, was extremely helpful... and explaining the concept and the types of food available. I arrived one hour before closing and there was still lots ofoptions available. I ended up buying one Frozen soup for next week and family size chicken cacciatore. The family absolutelyloved the pasta we had for dinner, they went back for seconds. ???? the quality of the food was really good. As this is my firsttime I didn't want to buy too many things until we knew that we liked it. I will definitely be back again and I will buy severaldishes to last me for the week.
