Had a private family get together. Great atmosphere, awesome food, and great service.

Midway on the Square, is one of Abbeville, Louisiana's gem restaurants, and the location is very convenient to the historic... downtown area. I think it's just the right mix of modern aesthetics, local & domestic beverages, Seafood, Italian Cuisine, andSpicy, Southern, Cajun Pride. In my humble opinion, I would strongly recommend the 1) Fried Green Tomatoes which are uniquelysuperb to any other 2) the Veal Parmesan, and 3) they have a really nice local Porter on tap. If Porter isn't your style, thereare plenty other varieties of other local and domestic adult beverages. I would like to see a pasta Aglio e Olio on the menu,but that's seems to be harder and harder to find anywhere in the country nowadays... and as much as I like all the fancy dishesthat are always coming out; sometimes, I just want to eat a simple dish of pasta with oil and garlic, and maybe some bread. Had a wonderful family reunion at Midway on the Square in Abbeville today. Such a great place to hold this kind of function and... the food and service was phenomenal. I loved the calamari and my eggplant parmigiana. Thanks so much to the owners and staff fora great time and great food. Read more
