The menu looks fantastic. I've been here once now, tried the Jalepeno chicken sandwich. Very generous portion of panko crusted... chicken, nice fresh arugula. I did note some jalapeño flavor, but it was very subtle. Went there on a Monday, just at the tailend of the dinner crowd. One server and one hostess/busser was leaving our server a bit stretched thin, but she did her best tohandle many tables alone. The hostess and I chatted and it sounds like she will move up to serving tables which will be helpfulfor the business. I appreciate that my server hustled but I'd like it if she didn't have to. I get that we are just startingback to business with the ridiculous restrictions the out of touch government imposed on the restaurant industry. Severalrestaurants I have been to this week are trying to guage the business flow. I understand. I'd like to see at least two serversfor a dinner rush there. Even on a Monday. I tried to order the Salmon Rizotto, it was sold out. I selected the pork chop next,that was sold out as well, so I opted for the chicken sandwich. Its a Monday, and business flow is still being assessed. I getit. I do want to try those menu items though. I do hope that 86ing menu items won't be a regular occurrence. I'll be back oftento go over the majority of the menu. 4 out of 5 stars (at the time of writing this) is due to the restroom not being in thebest shape and the two menu items not available. I will revise this review after a couple more visits to properly reflect myexperiences then. I am very happy to see a menu of this caliber in 100mile. The town needs it. Prices are a bit lower than Iwould expect. That is quite nice. I'd expect a rise in menu cost going forward, and I'd hope that the locals understand thevalue they are getting here. In town for work and what a pleasant surprise this restaurant was. Friendly, warm, attentive service. Fantastic food! And the... menu - it?s rare you want to order everything on one, but you will with this, especially knowing how good the cooking is. Pricesvery reasonable too. Eat here. You won?t regret it. I've eaten here many times, both when passing through town or when in town overnight on a work trip. This place is a "hit &... miss" for me. I had good to great dishes some times and below standard meals at other occasions. One example was a soggy,undercooked fish & chips dinner. Consistency is not a strength here, same goes for the service. Had excellent service at sometimes, poor and unfriendly service at other visits. Why am I going back? I had a great evening in the restaurant when I visited my brother and his family in 100 mile ranch. The food was absolutely... delicious!!! Jason the owner and his staff are very friendly and we had a great time there. Next time I come to visit Canada, Iwill definitely go there again and looking forward to my next visit. Worst service I have ever had in my entire life. 30 minutes after we ordered we were informed they were out of four things we... had ordered. Drinks sat empty. Pop refills brought with pop and ice in separate glasses because they ?didn?t have enoughglasses?. We saw a half beer brought out because they had run out. No drink menu, servers had no knowledge of any drinks theyhad. Many tables came and went before we even got our food. Food was mediocre at best. Five out of nine meals came while therest of us sat with no food until the others were finished and we still hadn?t gotten our food. There are currently at leastfour tables waiting at the front door and no one has even said hello in the last ten minutes. The owner appeared to not care atall and hardly comped the bill at all. The food was delicious and everything was a great price! The restaurant was not packed, but a decent amount of people inside-... still some empty tables though. I mention this because while the server and hostess were very kind, the service was terriblyslow. The food took a very long time to come out, our waters were never refilled, then after we had eaten we waited for at leastanother 20 minutes to get the check. Food... 5 stars Beautiful atmosphere, clean, good location and ample room. Our server was nice, but not so attentive. 2 other... younger servers were quite chilly and sad. Smile a bit!
