Denys says, "It's worth returning from Ukraine to Canada for Smitty's". We went two days in a row, first for strawberry crepes... with whipped cream, then back the next day for the Ukrainian Skillet. Last time I was here, in 1981, they had smoking andnon-smoking sections that weren't very well separated, but I guess it's all non-smoking now. Read more

This used to be well ran. My latest experience was less than pleasant. About 5 servers circling and too many asking if... everything is ok. When I finally got my meal.... A side of "scrambled" eggs shown here is what I got. Another server came aroundand asked if my meal was ok so I politely said, good except I ordered scrambled eggs. Big mistake... She snapped at me and said"Well THAT'S HOW WE MAKEM HERE." and then walked away. Soon after the owner came around and I told him what happened so he tookthe dead eggs away and said he'd take care of it.... Did not ask me if I even wanted them at this point as I was half waythrough my meal but I thought at least he's trying to fix it... Right? Well he comes back with what looks like greasynoodles... Another version of garbage Imo and boasts.... I took the scrambled eggs off your bill. How gracious... Went to payand he starts apologizing for my server and saying how he gave her a talking to and she's new and inexperienced.
