Reviews for Rise & Grind Coffee House in 100 Mile House, BC
This is my go-to for grabbing a cup of dark roast on the go. Quick and affordable. Nice selection of regular and gluten-free... baking. Super tasty sausage rolls with flaky crust and local beef. Love their bannock! Professional and polite people work here.Quick service even when they're busy. Read more
So disappointed, I stopped for fuel in 100 Mile and I thought I would treat myself to a really nice coffee for the road. Spotted... Rise & Grind; perfect! A place that specializes in coffee will be way better than a shop that just happens to serve coffee. Theplace was busy; a good sign. I ordered a medium americano. The friendly young lady behind the cash offered to use the travel mugI was clutching. She even offered to rinse it for me. That was my mistake. I should have never handed over the mug. However, mydesire to be responsible and not use a disposable cup got the best of me. She handed back my 16oz travel mug filled to the brim.Hmmmm, I got a bad feeling immediately but I gave her the benefit of a doubt and went on my way. A few Kms down the road Iexcitedly popped the top on my mug and took a swig. Darn, nothing but brown water. Assuming that they put two 1.5 oz shots ofespresso in a medium americano, that means she added 13 oz of hot water to fill the mug. Maybe she though she was doing theright thing by filling the mug but it was so bad. Read more
All the cold drinks taste like they have rotting milk in them and big ice chunks are left in the blended drinks. Staff are nice
